As the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial continues to evoke public interest, Kate Moss has recently come forth to explain why she testified in the trial and what she knows about the former couple's tumultuous relationship.

Moss, who is a prominent figure in the modeling industry, has been friends with Depp for over two decades. In the trial, Moss was asked to recount an incident where she had witnessed Heard's purported violent behavior towards Depp. Despite the media scrutiny that ensued in the aftermath of Moss' testimony, she has remained steadfast in her position.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Moss elucidated on why she decided to speak up in defense of her friend. She stated, "I felt like I had to say something. It was a lie," referring to Heard's allegations of Depp's abusive behavior towards her. Moss believes that Depp was unfairly portrayed in the media and that he is not a violent person.
